wow. thanks for the blog. i found you as i was searching bout b-corp so i stumbled upon that article. and, coincidentally i'll be (hopefully) helping out a general contracting business with their new renewable energy category. without much knowledge in this sector, i planned on researching and your blog sounds like the perfect place to start! :) hmmm... serendipity?

Chris, great post, and thanks for the plug on Ignite Clean Energy Competition. As Chair over the past several years, we've tried to accomplish a lot. Glad there are those like you who appreciate all the contestants, mentors, judges and investors do in sustaining the green ecosystem.

This year, we're taking it to a whole new level, merging the Clean Tech Open and ICE together to form the oldest AND largest cleantech competition in the country. Hope to see you there.

Aunty Tricia,

Great to hear from you, I agree things are behind here but we're working to catch up. I've been thinking of touring Europe to discover the development of clean technology over there and write about it on GLD. If I do, I'll come to Germany to visit!

Hello Chris,
It's great to hear that young people are starting to wake up. In comparison to Europe, the US is 25 years behind the green movement. The change has to come from within, meaning everyone has to realise that the we are killing the environment with our chemicals, waste and greediness.
So keep up your good works and keep the movement going! Hope you'll well. Best Regards, your Aunty Tricia, Hamburg, Germany
